about me…

I’m a Geordie journalist, radio host, writer, and musician working across music, audio, and cultural journalism. My work centres on art, class, place, ambition, and community.

I graduated from the University of Leeds with a BJTC-accredited BA in Journalism (INT). My third year was spent on a study exchange programme at Australian National University, where I gained international newsroom experience as a radio news presenter at Capital Radio Newsroom.

My final project ‘Under Inked Skin’ won runner up at the BJTC Awards 2025 for Best Radio Documentary. The piece is an intimate dive into women’s relationship with tattoos- the celebratory, the rebellious, the medical, and even the regretful.

My work reflects a love for radio, music, investigative journalism, and telling stories that uplift community.
